HOW WE BECAME
STAGE FRIGHT!

On March 23, 2019, Iggy played piano at Fenway Park and Yoko sang, this was where they met and then they decided that they should start a band together. The only problem was it was only the two of them. So a few years later they went on the hunt for more members! Iggy and Yoko traveled all over from California to New York in search, they almost lost hope until they arrived in North Carolina. They were wandering when they heard the best drumming they had ever heard. Iggy and Yoko immediately ran in the direction of the music. Then they stopped and stared at Alice, she was amazing and as soon as she was done with her park concert, Iggy and Yoko went right up to her and Alice agreed to join the band. Now all they needed was a guitarist. On their way back to Yoko's home state of Michigan they stopped in Indianapolis, Indiana, they were driving to get groceries to make Alice's chicken noodle soup when at a stop light they stopped next to Prudence who was playing the guitar on a sidewalk. They asked if she wanted to join and she hoped right in the van.

At our first performance, we were all so nervous and had stage fright. The announcer heard us talking about it and thought that was our band name. He then announced us as Stage Fright and we liked the name so, we have been Stage Fright ever since!

Prudence

The Guitarist

Prudence grew up right outside of Hollywood, with parents in the music industry. She had been craving the small-town life since she was little after living in a huge city filled with future musicians and celebrities. At the age of 16, she took the car and left for a small town on Lake Michigan. During her journey there she stopped for gas in Indianapolis, Indiana, and realized that she did not have enough money to get gas to make it to her destination. Prudence grabbed a spare guitar that her father had from the trunk and began to play on the side of the road, hoping to only make a few dollars but found herself in a van with the rest of the band.

Yoko

The Singer

Yoko has been singing since her early high school years. She has had singing lessons since she was two years old. Iggy has been her best friend since birth, and they grew up playing together. Their first real concert was at Fenway Park, where Iggy played the piano while Yoko sang. Ever since the crowd went crazy for them, they have wanted to form a band. Nowadays she likes to eat Alice's chicken noodle soup, sing, and dominate in the karaoke at clubs.

Alice

The Drummer

Alice practically came out of the womb as a drummer. She has had drumsticks in her hand since the age of six and it has been her lifelong dream to rock all over the world and play everywhere. Alice always puts three layers of contacts in before every practice and performance because she likes to test herself with muscle memory rather than eyesight. She went to college at Yale University's School of Art with a full ride, she majored in music and minored in geometry. Now she enjoys reading, rocking with the band, and cooking her famous chicken noodle soup.

Iggy

The Pianist

The first time she brushed her finger across a keyboard was at the age of two. Her parents knew she would be the next Martha Argerich, her idol! She played Carnegie Hall at seven, Madison Square Garden at nine, and the national anthem at Fenway Park with Yoko singing at 11. Yoko and her have been best friends since birth and even more inseparable since that show. Iggy enjoys playing everything from classical to rock music. Iggy looks forward to the band growing and gaining more and more popularity.
